Note. These Trowbridges, who were of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and other places in N.Y. were 3rd cousins of the grandchildren of Jonathan 4 Molbey (Maltby) a first cousin of Abigail 4 Russell.

Miss Yates calls her "sister of Rebecca Maltbie, but bapt. as child of Capt. Jonathan Maltby or Mallbly."

It is claimed that after the death of her father in 1816, her mother, Rachel Mason, m. Mr. Medeef Eden of New York, and she was adopted by him, and her name changed to Eden.

CHA-AAb. Elizabeth Mallbly, bapt. Dec. 3, 1807, Fairfield, Ct., Epis- copal Church. (John 5, Jthon.4, Jthon.3, Jthon.2, Wm.1). She also, it is claimed, changed her name to Eden. Miss Ethel C. Yates of Camden, S. Carolina, states that she married a Mr. Guillette. Miss Yates owns a miniature of her.

Called "Rebecca Wheeler" by Miss Yates, who gives her birth as 1808, and states she m. Governor John Lide Wilson of South Carolina, from whom Miss Yates descends. (Her great-grandparents).
